Community, Growth & Partnerships

Most companies have the product figured out. The community, the developer programs, the partnerships: that part usually lags. That’s what I build.

Six years, four companies, always from zero. 450,000 users in 72 hours with no paid spend. 140+ contributors running independently across 25+ countries. Partnerships with Aptos, Polygon, and OKX.

Four problems that had no playbook

Each of these started without a team, without a budget, or without precedent. The numbers are the outcome. The method is the point.

Union Labs2024

Coordinating 5,200 strangers through a process that could not be redone

A zero-knowledge trusted setup ceremony required 5,200+ participants across 14 time zones to take specific actions in a precise sequence, collectively generating the cryptographic parameters the network’s proofs depend on, a process that could not be restarted once begun. The hard part was never technical. It was getting thousands of independent people, in dozens of countries, through a process most had never seen, with zero tolerance for incomplete participation. We gamified the funnel, made enrollment self-service, and reached full completion with no manual intervention. No playbook existed, so we wrote one.

Union LabsQuest Platform

Zero to 450,000 users before the weekend ended

Designed and launched Union’s in-house growth platform. 450,000 users onboarded in the first 72 hours through a funnel that cost nothing to acquire. The new testnet drove three times the transaction volume of its predecessor. It proved what I keep coming back to: distribution, built right, is itself a product feature.

ShardeumProof of Community

Opening a market of 20,000 people on a $30K budget

Shardeum needed presence in India with no regional team, no local recognition, and a lean budget. The plan was 53 campus activations across 90 consecutive days, run single-handed from start to finish. The result was not the tour. It was 20,000+ students reached, 25+ university communities launched, and a contributor network that kept growing after I left the country. The operating playbook became the template for Shardeum’s global expansion.

800+

6-week brief

Union LabsDevcon Bangkok

A flagship event from a blank brief in six weeks

Union needed a flagship presence at Devcon Bangkok, one of the largest developer gatherings in the world. The brief arrived six weeks out. Venue, programming, speakers, AV, catering, and international travel logistics all ran single-threaded through me. 1,000+ registrations, 800+ attendees. The number matters less than what it takes to run a complex multi-stakeholder operation from nothing without dropping a detail.

How I Work

Three things I do better than most

Not learned from a playbook. Built by doing it four times over, in markets I had to figure out myself.

01

The infrastructure behind adoption

Community & developer programs

I design the programs that turn early users into communities that keep growing when I’m not in the room. Developer fellowships, accelerator cohorts, ambassador networks, contributor programs: built on a clear hypothesis, run against specific KPIs, handed off with a written playbook. If it can’t run without me, it wasn’t built right.

02

Distribution without the ad spend

Growth & partnerships

450,000 users in 72 hours. A newsletter at 51,000 subscribers and a 20% open rate. Partnerships with Aptos, Polygon, Arbitrum, OKX, and The Sandbox. Growth earned through community and partnerships outlasts paid acquisition and costs a fraction of it. I build the campaigns, the BD pipelines, the CRMs, and the partner programs that generate that distribution.

03

Complex programs, single-threaded ownership

Operations at scale

I’ve coordinated a 5,200-person program across 14 time zones, run 53 campus activations in 90 days on $30,000, and produced an 800-person flagship conference in six weeks. The specifics change every time. What doesn’t: I own the whole thing, I make it work, and I build the system so the next one doesn’t depend on me.

About

The philosophy behind the work

Community, growth, and partnerships. That’s where I work. My job is building the infrastructure that turns a technology company’s first hundred users into something self-sustaining: developer programs, ambassador networks, growth campaigns, strategic partnerships. I’ve done it at four companies from scratch, as the person responsible for all of it at each one.

The track record, company by company. At Union Labs, 450,000 users in 72 hours through a zero-cost campaign, a 9-week accelerator with 50 competing teams, and partnerships with Aptos, Polygon, and Movement Labs. At Shardeum, 140+ contributors running independently across 25+ countries, built from zero using programs I designed. At OG Club, a community I helped grow to 29,000 members before it was acquired, with 15+ founders funded. At Commudle, 10,000 users in six months on a $0 marketing budget, and a newsletter that reached 51,000 developers at a 20% open rate.

The problem is always a version of the same thing. A company has something worth caring about, but not enough people care yet. The community doesn’t exist. The developer programs were never designed. Growth depends entirely on paid acquisition. I build the alternatives: programs that generate loyalty, partnerships that generate distribution, community infrastructure that keeps growing without budget.

What separates this from a typical community or growth hire is scope. Most people specialize in one channel. I’ve owned community, growth, partnerships, developer relations, and program design at the same time, at every company I’ve worked at. That breadth changes what’s achievable, because the growth motion and the community motion reinforce each other when the same person owns both.

Since 2020, that includes training 20,000+ students and professionals at organizations like TCS and Infosys and at IITs, IIMs, and IIITs. Currently building AI Cabal, a practitioner-led AI community for builders across India. Looking for community, ecosystem, growth, or business development leadership at AI infrastructure, developer tool, or technical platform companies, where that infrastructure hasn’t been built yet.

Scale is rarely a growth problem.
It’s usually an alignment problem.

Experience

Where I’ve built

Nine roles, built market by market across four continents. Always from zero, always with a measurable outcome.

Jul 2026 – Present

AI Cabal

Pan-India AI builder community, currently in build: practitioner network, newsletter, and roadshow series.

Founder

Challenge: India has a growing base of AI builders and no practitioner-led community at real density. Most AI events stay surface-level; most newsletters are reposts. Action: Building AI Cabal from scratch, designing the practitioner network, newsletter, and in-person roadshow program together rather than bolting them on later. Status: Founded July 2026. Early build, nothing shipped publicly yet.

  • Designing The Cabal Dispatch, a newsletter for AI practitioners, and a planned 5-city roadshow across Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai.
  • Building the community and content infrastructure from zero, applying the playbook that produced 450K users and 140+ contributors at prior companies, now in the AI space.

Aug 2024 – Jul 2026

Union Labs

Zero-knowledge protocol connecting blockchains for cross-chain asset transfers and messaging.

Head of Ecosystem

Challenge: Join an infrastructure company at pre-launch with zero users, no community playbook, and a mandate to build global ecosystem and GTM from scratch. Action: Owned community, developer programs, partnerships, PR, and growth at the same time. Result: 450K users in 72 hours, a 5,200-person zero-knowledge trusted setup ceremony, an 800-person flagship conference built in six weeks, and a self-sustaining community across 30+ countries at exit.

What are you building?

If you’re building something ambitious and the community, growth, or ecosystem motion isn’t where it needs to be, that’s the conversation worth having.
